Digital Learning: Science of Skulls Filmmaking Summer Camp

The Science of Skulls Filmmaking Summer Camp is a 1-week program for middle school youth who will get to work with Academy scientists and other experts to write, film, and produce short films about science. In the process of creating their films, youth will have a chance to explore the Academy and investigate what it means to be a scientist and communicate exciting science stories. The youth-created films will focus on skeletal adaptations and how they relate to evolution and biodiversity, topics related to our exhibits “Skulls” (coming in May) and “Islands of Evolution.” Youth will get to take home their videos and assets at the end of the camp and will receive a certificate of completion.

Price: $400 / $360 for Academy members
